Before we begin

What to send
for your property film.

A useful property film starts with clear source material and a clear idea of what you want to show. Showhome works with existing photographs and architectural renders to plan a moving sequence around the spaces and details that matter.

Choose images that tell the property’s story.

Include an exterior view that establishes the building, key interior spaces, and distinctive features such as a courtyard or pool. A mix of wide views and closer details gives the sequence variety. Several nearly identical angles may add less than one clear view of a different space.

Send the highest-quality originals available. Keep images from different units clearly labelled so the right rooms and exterior views stay together. Let us know which images show the existing property and which are proposed designs or renders.

Tell us what the film is for.

Share the property name, intended audience, where you plan to use the film, and the features you want viewers to notice. Include any logo, approved property details and contact information intended for an end frame.

We can then discuss length, framing and creative direction around the material you have. You don’t need a finished storyboard to start the conversation.

Be clear about what the images show.

Separate photographs do not establish a continuous route through a building. If the relationship between rooms matters, include plans or other references. A sequence of room shots should not be mistaken for a verified walkthrough.

Use material you have permission to share and use for the film. Identify anything that should remain private or be excluded from the finished presentation.

Start with your source material.

Send Ben your available photographs or renders and a short description of the property and intended use. The first step is to review what the material supports and agree the film’s direction.
